Established in 1853, St. Francis Xavier University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the medium town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. 

Officially recognized by the Department of Labour and Advanced Education of Nova Scotia, St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Canadian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.

General Admission Requirements

For high school students, the minimum requirements include an overall average of 70% in Grade 12, with no marks below 65% in each of the required subjects.  Admissions to limited enrolment programs are competitive, thus, minimum grade requirements are subject to change.
