Founded in 1839, Mount Allison University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the medium town of Sackville, New Brunswick. Officially recognized by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour of New Brunswick, Mount Allison University (MTA) is a small  coeducational Canadian higher education institution. 

Mount Allison University (MTA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. 

 This 181 years old Canadian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students’ past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. 

MTA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
